Creating a community of practice

During my Bachelor's studies in Product Design Engineering, my friend and I sought practical learning experiences and community engagement in a theory-focused first year. With the valuable support of the university staff, we transformed our discontent into meaningful initiatives. We established the university's first student-led design association, and currently more than 80 members develop under this umbrella their interests and connect with like-minded. Upon completing our studies, the collective kept thriving, demonstrating how shared passions and collective intelligence can drive beyond the individual.

Here are some projects that I coordinated and participated in that I would like to highlight:

  • Women´s emancipation and gender equality - NGO Pura Vida Foundation, granted by GLOCAL 2018.

  • Product design of a measuring filtering buoy to oversee the levels of microplastic pollution along the mediterranean coast - Awarded the DYSON Award 2019.

  • Organization of talks around the future of the design profession, I ara què?
